Project g-bird
This is a 1974 Pontiac Firebird Esprit. Originally with 2bbl 350 engine and TH350 automatic transmission.
The '73 front bumber had been changed by previous owners and so was the Camaro rear bumber.
Frameoff
The project started - as allways - with a total teardown of old tired parts.
We were expecting some rust and question marks from the back of the roof but there was more to come...

These DSE minitubs should fit 335 rims.
T-56 crossmember
cleaning the firewall. Room left for wiring harness.
Improving the Vintage air harness to body
Improving DSE subframe connector to front subframe mounting
New tank (from 4'th gen) going in together with new trunk floor..
..and fuel cap.
T-56 swap needs also clutch. The ATS clutch bracket installed in the firewall.
The rear panel is also going to shape up.
